It’s also crispy and flavorful, which makes it addictive—but a few bacon crumbles can add unnecessary grease and calories. Pizzas that pile on multiple meats—like meat lovers or supreme-style combinations—multiply the damage. These toppings create a high-fat, high-sodium meal that can exceed 1,000 calories in just two slices. Between the pepperoni, sausage, ham, and bacon, these pies are overloaded with processed meats that have little to no nutritional benefit.

Stuffed Crust with Toppings

While not a topping in the traditional sense, stuffed crust pizzas often pair with heavy toppings like sausage and extra cheese, creating a calorie bomb. The additional cheese inside the crust significantly increases saturated fat and sodium, especially when combined with greasy meats.
